The 探花精选 Department of Military Science would like to congratulate Second Lieutenant Cymone Courtney Grant, ’19 on her completion of the Adjutant General Officer Basic Leader Course, located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The Adjutant General Officer Basic Leader Course is a four month course that trains officers to become Human Resource Managers for the United States Army. Lieutenant Grant鈥檚 first assignment will be Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. As a Human Resources officer, her duties will include management for a 400 personnel unit and advising senior leadership on all matters related to personnel human resources support. We wish Second Lieutenant Grant the best of luck and safe travels as she embarks on the next step in her Military career.聽

Cadet Morgan was recently selected to attend the George C. Marshall Leadership and Awards Seminar at Fort Leavenworth, KS, where he received the George C. Marshall Award. This award is given to cadets who show academic excellence, leadership and physical fitness within their programs.

Throughout the seminar, Cadet Morgan took part in seminars and round table discussions with Army and Defense experts on critical defense and geopolitical matters, and the profession of arms. This exposure to contemporary civilian and military leaders at a high level provided Cadet Morgan with unique opportunities that are not part of the normal college ROTC curriculum.
