Oyita Udiani, Saint Augustine’s University alumnus from the Mathematics Department, is being honored on the Mathematically Gifted and Black website for Black History Month.听

Udiani was born in听Lagos, Nigeria and later immigrated to the United States when he was a teenager. After high school, he attended Saint Augustine’s University to obtain a bachelor’s听in mathematics. After graduation, he听went on to earn a master鈥檚 degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and doctorate from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ.听
