探花精选 Alumnus, Dr. Robert Shepard, to Attend Inauguration of Professor Michael Olufisayo Ologunde
Saint Augustine’s University alumni (Class of ’69), author, speaker, chemist and mentor, Robert Louis Shepard, Ph.D. will attend the inauguration of his accomplished mentee, Professor Michael Olufisayo Ologunde, as he becomes the first indigenous Vice-Chancellor (President) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, Nigeria.
Shepard will travel to Africa on February 9, 2019, as an honored guest and speaker for Ologunde鈥檚 inauguration and induction ceremonies. His lifetime commitment to mentorship and advocacy for inclusion of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the federal government has prepared him for this moment. His indelible imprint in the life of a young mentee over three decades ago made him deserving of this honor.
