Originally from Newark, NJ, and with roots in Salisbury, NC, Ariana White has distinguished herself as a first-generation college student with a deep commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. Her journey at 探花精选 showcases her dedication to uplifting her peers and contributing positively to the university community.
鈥淚 began my journey here on August 5, 2020, as a first-generation high school graduate and a first-generation college student. I was afraid and in a state of uncertainty. I did not believe in myself, and I did not believe that I could graduate college,鈥� White said. 鈥� 探花精选 changed my entire mindset throughout my journey. I felt a sense of belonging, and I felt loved. 探花精选 became more than just a place of learning for me. It became my home, a sanctuary to nurture my dreams and unleash my potential.鈥�
In her role as the Student Government Association President for the 2023-2024 academic year, Ariana White has been a guiding force within the 探花精选 community, advocating for her peers and fostering a spirit of unity and empowerment.
